Citric acid has many uses. It can be used to neutralize soda ash after cleaning and can be used as a natural preservative.

How to use after soda ash:
Dissolve 4 tablespoons or 1/4 cup of citric acid in 1 gallon of hot water. Funnel the solution into a carboy or demijohn. Shake and “Slosh” the solution, then funnel the same solution into each carboy and repeat. Rinse car- boys with plain water several times and drain.
